Features and Benefits

The standard version of DepositNow opens in your Web browser to let you scan checks and deposit them electronically. You must be logged in to our secure server to run DepositNow. This may be helpful if you will be using a shared computer to deposit checks online — no one can use the program unless they are connected with your User ID and password.

If you handle a relatively low volume of checks, a Web-based system will probably be adequate to handle your needs. However, if you have connection issues or have a lot of checks to deposit, you may consider using DepositNow Offline Mode instead.

Offline Mode lets you scan multiple checks in a row, then log in and upload them at the same time as a single batch. We recommend buying the offline version if you handle more than 50 checks a day.

Scanner Choices

If you're operating in Web-based mode, a single-feed scanner should be enough to handle your needs. High-speed
hopper-fed models scan checks faster than your Internet
connection can upload them, so you'll realize little increase in speed.

At $325, the DepositNow Scanner is among the lowest-priced single-feed
scanners on the market. It can also be used as an ordinary scanner
to read other media in full color.

scanners we offer, see our Choosing a Check Scanner guide.
